So let me get this straight... you've seen every fucking episode of the bachelorette season 400 and all 18 Cinderella stories, but you haven't managed to make time for a movie like fight club? I mean... I'm not entirely sure the movie lives up to ALL the hype but it's still a movie that everyone should watch at least once.

You're fired.

If it was the Drew Berrymore Cinderella then that's okay. That's a good flick.

$5 is half way to owning it. You should just go the full distance. It'll be worth the loot.

also yeah when the secret is, "i am opposing a character's goals but just for the sake of sand bagging it for the sake of my own inferiority complex and i'm doing it in a way that makes no sense" mr. "i was spying all along" was being a doosh because rallying THE WORLD against you is kind of extreme. that's definitely a scenario where you wanna put that on the table because it would be a lot more fun to have everyone in on something like that. the gm should have been on that.

"secret secrets are no fun. secret secrets hurt someone"
-stripper, The Office

I think if a player is going to oppose the party he should expect resistance secret or not and he should understand that his path will ultimately lead to failure. Our guy in our scenario lost the fight in the end, there was no "you lose" to the campaign.

I would also recommend the fear the boot episode on party conflict. they say it best. basically that it should be understood that secret betrayals should almost always fail is what they say. You shouldn't become a leaky snatch box when everyone beats the crap out of you and your precious betrayal plot when they catch up to you. but i am just saying things now go listen to the fear the boot on it.

ew fight club, drew barrymore has glitter face in that movie (when i saw it on a commercial). probably because she was too drunk to see what she was snorting up and got a brain full of glitter instead of mountain powder. I bet Spielburg's testicles look like a disco ball now.

Deciding something should fail before it's been planned, plotted, or implemented is the railroad you so vociferously peed on, George. Let the quality of the players' decisions and actions determine the result.
